They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Lincoln County 83-40 at home. The win was familiar territory for Loyola-Sacred Heart who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Lincoln County still got an impressive performance from Dylan Sharp, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and five assists. The matchup was Sharp's third in a row with at least ten points.
Loyola-Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Lincoln County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loyola-Sacred Heart will face off against Arlee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arlee will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Montana Rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Loyola-Sacred Heart is ranked 19th). As for Lincoln County, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Ignatius at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Ignatius is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
