Central hadn't done well against Classical recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Raiders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Saints. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Central easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

The win made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 15-18. As for Classical, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-29-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Central and Classical will both be playing Udall the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
