After flying high against the Centennial Eagles last Friday, The Lake Brantley Patriots came back down to earth. Lake Brantley's tough 47-24 loss to Winter Park on Friday might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Lake Brantley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 225th, while Winter Park is ranked 69th).
Lake Brantley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which is still a better percentage than their 1-9 record this season. As for Winter Park, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Lake Brantley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Winter Park will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mandarin at 7:00 p.m.
