Tymir Gaines Delivers Best Effort of Season
Tymir Gaines produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mount Dora to the win on Friday. Gaines rushed for 315 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 15.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards.
The win was the sixth in a row for Mount Dora, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. Gaines and Mount Dora will welcome The Villages Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
