Central Heights extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 21-5 in the process. They blew past the Newton Eagles 12-2. Considering the Blue Devils have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Newton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

For Newton's part, Chett Barrow was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI.
