It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Argyle Eagles had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They breezed by Wyatt at home to the tune of 45-14. The win was familiar territory for Argyle who now have nine in a row.
Jake Krekeler was a one-man wrecking crew for Argyle as he rushed for 159 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.
Argyle pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Wyatt, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.
Argyle will take on Wylie at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Wylie is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. Wyatt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
