The Pallotti Panthers will challenge the St. Paul's Crusaders at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pallotti comes in on five and St. Paul's on nine.
Pallotti is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Boys Latin to the tune of 44-3. The matchup marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pallotti to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clement Boti, who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Boti also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Panthers are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 4-5 otherwise. Braxton Brady also helped with two TDs in total.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pallotti was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Meanwhile, St. Paul's was able to grind out a solid victory over John Carroll on Saturday, taking the game 27-15. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Crusaders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Patriots are ranked 97th).
A big part of St. Paul's win came down to the chemistry between Andrew Cooper and his top target Lamar West. Cooper picked up 69 receiving yards and one touchdown while West gained 94 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave West a new career-high in receiving yards (35).
St. Paul's didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Cahron Wheeler, West, and Liam Barganski, who each picked up one interception apiece. Another thorn in John Carroll's side was Wheeler, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Pallotti's record now sits at 7-5. As for St. Paul's, their record is now 9-1.
Pallotti and St. Paul's were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in October, but Pallotti came up empty-handed after a 27-26 loss. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
