Carney (Okla.) took the lead for good when it ran for a touchdown with 10:00 to go in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat
Kremlin-Hillsdale (Kremlin, Okla.) 50-28 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Kass Bittle touchdown run, the Broncs went into halftime with a 28-14 lead. The Bulldogs took the lead for good with a touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Kremlin-Hillsdale's
Trev Schoenhals played well. He threw two touchdowns.
With the win Carney extended its winning streak to four games.
Kremlin-Hillsdale (2-7) will play a C District 3 (8 Man) game against Cherokee next week, while Carney (5-4) will take on Bluejacket also in a C District 3 (8 Man) game.
