Wellington played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Greysn Bogdanchik looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Lucas Bratten was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March.

Wellington was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Royal Palm Beach only posted a batting average of .154.

Wellington's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-7. As for Royal Palm Beach, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Wellington will square off against West Boca Raton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Royal Palm Beach, they will challenge Jupiter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
