Hanks is a perfect 10-0 against Horizon since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scorpions at 6:35 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Hanks turned things around against Bel Air on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Highlanders.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 24-26, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hanks to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sarai Flores, who had 32 digs and one assist. Flores has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more digs the last 11 times she's played. Sofia Nevarez was another key player, getting 27 digs and three aces.
Hanks was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Horizon made easy work of Parkland on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Scorpions haven't had any issues with the Matadors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Horizon's got stronger as the match went on, holding Parkland to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-19.
Hanks' victory bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Horizon, their win bumped their record up to 10-20.
Hanks took their victory against Horizon in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Scorpions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
