Stewart County is 0-10 against Terrell County since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Stewart County Royal Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Terrell County Greenwave at 7:30 p.m. Stewart County has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 17.
Stewart County suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Seminole County, falling 82-36. Stewart County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-25.
Meanwhile, Terrell County didn't have too much trouble with Pataula Charter Academy at home on Saturday as they won 70-54.
Keavonte Anderson was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Michael Carter, who scored 12 points.
Stewart County bumped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Terrell County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.
Stewart County was taken down by Terrell County 72-32 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Stewart County was down 44-12.
