The Hillsborough Terriers and the Bolles Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday at. Hillsborough will be strutting in after a victory while Bolles will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Hillsborough strolled past Tampa Bay Tech with points to spare, taking the game 70-52.
Victor Olayisade was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. Bryan Hamilton was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists and six steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bolles' good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Ribault by a score of 55-53.
Bolles' loss came about despite a quality game from Finley Bredehoeft, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. Bredehoeft scored a full 45.3% of Bolles' points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Ferguson, who scored nine points along with 11 assists.
The victory got Hillsborough back to even at 5-5. As for Bolles, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
