The Boiling Springs Bubblers have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell  64-54 to Manheim Township on Wednesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Boiling Springs came into the  match with a sizable advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 124th, while Manheim Township is ranked 523rd).
 Despite the  defeat, Boiling Springs saw an underclassman step up:  Ethan Yenser  scored 26 points. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riley Lucido, who  scored eight points.
 Boiling Springs' defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-2. As for Manheim Township, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.
 Boiling Springs won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Carlisle at 5:00  p.m.  on December 28th. As for Manheim Township, they will head out on the road to face off against J.P. McCaskey at 7:30  p.m.  on January 5, 2024.
