After low-scoring totals in their previous four game, Mercy brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They put the hurt on the El Camino Colts with a sharp 15-3 victory on Monday. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 12 runs or more this season.
Isabele Reburiano made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.
In other batting news, Mercy let McKenna Fua and Aveline Anderson run wild. Fua got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs, while Anderson went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
