With a playoff win on the line, Cartersville rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Wayne County Yellow Jackets with a sharp  3-0 victory. The Hurricanes are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cartersville to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Mckenzie Wilkie, who  had seven  aces and three  digs. That's the most  aces  Wilkie has posted since back in August of 2024.  Sydney Seigler was another key player,  getting eight  digs and two  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Cartersville  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 19  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in five consecutive  contests.
Cartersville's record is now 43-6. As for Wayne County, their loss dropped their record down to 21-9-1.
 Cartersville has already played their next matchup,  a  3-0  win against Blessed Trinity on the 21st. Wayne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
