Karmello Jones Delivers Best Effort of Season
Cross was led to victory by Karmello Jones, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jones rushed for 289 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Cross, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Jones and Cross will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bethune-Bowman at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Bethune-Bowman's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Bell and Bethune-Bowman will square off against Scott's Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
