Basketball Recap: Ah'mad Woodard Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Roselle Park

American History won the last time they faced Roselle Park and things went their way on Monday too. The American History Eagles strolled past the Roselle Park Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 71-55. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Panthers are ranked 410th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

American History got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ah'Mad Woodard out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten steals. Another player making a difference was Ihjamir Williams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.

American History smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

American History's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-6. As for Roselle Park, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

American History won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Becton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roselle Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
