Clark is 2-8 against Bonanza since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Chargers will venture away from home to square off against the Bengals at 4:00 p.m. Clark is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Clark's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Western 8-0. Considering the Chargers have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Nicholas Maffey looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
At the plate, Bryan Humes was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Drew Hernandez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Clark always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They are 9-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Bonanza made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on Friday. The Bengals were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Knights. The Bengals haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Dallas Sirikhan made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Santistevan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Bonanza is undefeated when Santistevan posts two or more runs, but 8-17 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Dillon Owens, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Clark pushed their record up to 17-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Bonanza, their record now sits at 12-17.
Clark came up short against Bonanza in their previous matchup back in March, falling 10-5. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
