In what's become a running theme this season, the Taylor Allderdice Dragons gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Carrick at home to the tune of 72-31. Winning may never get old, but Taylor Allderdice sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
It was another big night for Logan Golle, who scored 24 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Azerick Jetter, who scored 15 points.
Taylor Allderdice's lineup was just a bit different on Friday as Sky Reeves got a bit more time on the court (20 vs. his season average of 8.53). Reeves made the most of the opportunity, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Taylor Allderdice has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for Carrick, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
Taylor Allderdice won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hampton at 4:30 p.m. on February 10th. Taylor Allderdice knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Hampton likes a good challenge. Carrick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
