Basketball Game Preview: Terrell County Greenwave vs. Early County Bobcats

Terrell County and Early County are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Terrell County Greenwave just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Early County Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Terrell County needed a bit of extra time to put away Pelham. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 84-74. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greenwave.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terrell County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cordarius Perry, who posted 30 points. Perry's evening made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Carter, who had 21 points.

Meanwhile, Early County waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pirates 63-35. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Pirates are ranked 449th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Early County has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Terrell County, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
