There's no place like home for Lexington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts 13-5 on Tuesday. Considering the Minutemen have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lexington's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-13. As for Illinois Valley Central, they dropped their record down to 15-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Lexington will head out to challenge Fieldcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Minutemen are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Illinois Valley Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tolono Unity at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
