Last Tuesday, Elysian Fields suffered a tough 52-26 loss at the hands of the Tigers. Elysian Fields has struggled against the Tigers recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was McKenzie LeBlanc, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Kerrigan Love, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Waskom beat the Tigers 42-32 on Friday. The win was just what Waskom needed coming off of a 84-31 loss in their prior contest.
Elysian Fields has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 19 of their last 20 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-28 record this season. As for Waskom, their win bumped their record up to 12-14.
