Basketball Recap: Clover Garden School Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clover Garden School had won two straight games and Hanna Tickle did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Clover Garden School Grizzlies secured a 29-23 W over the Southern Wake Academy Lions thanks in part to Tickle, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Clover Garden School's points.

Clover Garden School's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Southern Wake Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Clover Garden School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 36-18 victory against Cornerstone Charter on the 29th. As for Southern Wake Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 29-16 win against River Mill on the 30th.
