After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cambria Heights, Moshannon Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Williamsburg Blue Pirates with a sharp 16-5 win. The Black Knights/Damsels' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Annabeth Anderson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave her a new career-low. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
