The Kingstree Blazers lost to the Lee Central Stallions back in February of 2023, but the Kingstree Blazers didn't allow the Lee Central Stallions the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Kingstree came out on top against Lee Central by a score of 47-37.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kingstree to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micheal Kelly, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Adarius Hilton, who scored nine points.
Kingstree has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Lee Central, they dropped their record down to 12-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingstree will take on Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marion presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kingstree in South Carolina (Marion is ranked 34th, while Kingstree is ranked 139th). As for Lee Central, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mullins at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Mullins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
