The Paradise Panthers can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Valley View 68-16 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-0.
Paradise got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gazey Yates out in front who scored 21 points. Yates is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Channing Beauvais, who scored 13 points along with two steals and two blocks.
The victory (which was Paradise's fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Valley View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paradise will take on Ponder at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pilot Point at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pilot Point has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2.
