The Tiverton Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They secured a 48-42 W over Cranston East. The win was a breath of fresh air for Tiverton as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tiverton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jah'niece Branch, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cami Oliveira, who scored seven points.
Several Thunderbolts players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mya Jiminez, who scored 14 points. Jayna Gunderway was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Tiverton's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Cranston East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Tiverton will be playing at home against Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mt. Pleasant is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Cranston East, they will head out on the road to take on Moses Brown at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Moses Brown will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
