It's playoff time, and Lovett had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the King's Ridge Christian Tigers a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Lovett, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Lovett and bumps their season record up to 13-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two matches. As for King's Ridge Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Lovett will host Fellowship Christian at 5:00 p.m. on May 1. Fellowship Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Lovett surely won't give up without a fight. King's Ridge Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
