The Edna Karr Cougars will head out on the road to  challenge  the Zachary Broncos  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  are strolling into their  games after big wins in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Edna Karr humbled  Mt. Carmel with  a  66-33 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11  matchups by 22  points or more this season.

 Edna Karr can attribute much of their success to   Cass Antoine, who  posted 19 points, and   Sanaa Bean, who  earned 15  points. Antoine's evening made it four games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Jalyn Recasnner, who  put up nine  points.
 Meanwhile, Zachary entered their tilt with Alexandria on Monday with five consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with six. They breezed by the Trojans to the tune of  69-35. Given the Broncos' advantage  in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked fourth, while the Trojans are ranked 39th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Zachary is also on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Edna Karr, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home.
