The Massaponax Panthers stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They really took it to Mountain View for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-15 victory on the road. The win was nothing new for Massaponax as they're now sitting on five straight.
Takiera Ramey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 assists. Ramey is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taliyah Alexander, who scored 16 points along with four steals.
Massaponax's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Massaponax will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonial Forge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Panthers are ranked 50th). As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverbend is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season.
