Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Decatur Eisenhower). They came out on top against the Rochester Rockets by a score of 70-57 on Friday. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 59-51 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rochester lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jack Melton, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kai Bruce, who posted 12 points.

Decatur Eisenhower has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Rochester, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4.

Decatur Eisenhower will square off against MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in MacArthur's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches. Rochester has already played their next game, a 48-37 victory against Eureka on the 11th.
