Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rejoice Christian). They were the clear victors by a 22-14 margin over the Aspire HomeSchool Trailblazers on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Callen Duncan made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Duncan was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Rejoice Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 12-14 otherwise.
In other batting news, Micah Walker was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with six RBI, one run, and one double. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Ethan Lawson was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
