Basketball Recap: Abundant Life Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Arielle Jordan and Jaelle Vital

If Abundant Life Academy was feeling good fresh off their 40-2 takedown of Faith Christian last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Abundant Life Academy came up short against American Christian School on Saturday, falling 43-17. The matchup marked Abundant Life Academy's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jaelle Vital and Arielle Jordan certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Vital posted six points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Jordan had two points and five steals. Vital has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played.

Abundant Life Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for American Christian School, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Abundant Life Academy is facing Veritas Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Veritas Christian Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
