Lely made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,359 from 5,481. The improvement came about via a 29-21 victory over the Trojans last week.
Immokalee led 5A District 12 in scoring this week after putting up 29 points on Lely. Tshumbi Johnson threw for 147 yards and three touchdowns and ran for four yards in the win.
Immokalee's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 887 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while J.C. Jackson has 14 catches for 253 yards. D'ernest Johnson leads the league in rushing with 332 yards.
