The Cristo Rey Monarchs on the road again on Friday and play against the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th.
Last Wednesday, things could have been worse for Cristo Rey, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-39 loss to Horeb Christian.
Meanwhile, Sheridan Hills Christian stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They put the hurt on First Baptist Academy with a sharp 76-55 win. The victory was nothing new for Sheridan Hills Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
Sheridan Hills Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was AJ Seay out in front who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Seay is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Elias Feliz, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Cristo Rey's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
