Butler had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 63-29 win over the North Lawndale Phoenix. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Butler to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xyanna Walton, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 19 rebounds. The game was Walton's seventh in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Cyra Conwell, who posted 19 points and four steals.

Butler pushed their record up to 20-10 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points over those games. As for North Lawndale, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.

Coming up, Butler will face off against Chicago Marshall at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. North Lawndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
