The Tabernacle Christian Ram were the 58-55 winner over the Scotland Christian Academy Saints when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. Tabernacle Christian fell 49-41 to Scotland Christian Academy on Tuesday.
Layla Nicolosi was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and five steals for Scotland Christian Academy. That makes it three consecutive games in which Nicolosi has scored at least a third of Scotland Christian Academy's points. Lily Cartrette was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.
Tabernacle Christian bumped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Scotland Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Tabernacle Christian will head out on the road to square off against Fayetteville Street Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Scotland Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Raleigh Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
