The North Moore Mustangs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They claimed a resounding 65-27 win over Graham at home. North Moore might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matches by 24 points or more this season.
Colby Pennington was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of North Moore's points. Another player making a difference was Austin Patterson, who scored 13 points.
North Moore's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Graham, they bumped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Moore will face off against Cummings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Graham, they will head out on the road to face off against Southeast Alamance at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Alamance knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Graham likes a good challenge.
