Softball Recap: Sumner Academy Wins Going Away Against Washington

Sumner Academy came out on top against Washington on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive 13-run first inning. The Sabres were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Wildcats. The Sabres might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 15 runs or more this season.

Sumner Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Washington, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coming up, Sumner Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Wyandotte at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington will be paying especially close attention to the Sabres' contest: after the Sabres face off against Harmon, they'll take on Washington again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
