Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anjalia Bryant, who scored 16 points along with four steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Janaye Martinez, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and six blocks.
St. Michael the Archangel struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
St. Michael the Archangel's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Veritas School, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
St. Michael the Archangel won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Yellow Jackets at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th. Randolph-Macon Academy's defense has only allowed 22.9 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Veritas School, they will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
