Paul Public Charter International was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as KIPP College Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Paul Public Charter International lost, one person who can't be blamed is Xavier Holmes. Despite the final result, he scored 42 points. That was a full 63.6% of Paul Public Charter International's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Naeem Reid, who scored eight points.
Dahmir Lindsey was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was AJ Jackson, who scored 11 points along with five assists.
Paul Public Charter International's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-7. As for KIPP College Prep, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.
