This season hasn't been kind to the Psalms Christian Academy Ambassadors, who are still winless after their 12th game. They fell 40-33 to Mount Olive Christian on Monday. Psalms Christian Academy lost against Mount Olive Christian in their previous head to head back in November of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 55-22 score last time.
Psalms Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Christenson, who scored nine points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Christenson grabbed two or more steals. Brandon Jennings was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Psalms Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Mount Olive Christian, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.
Psalms Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mount Olive Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against NELA Christian Homeschool at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. One thing working in NELA Christian Homeschool's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
