Calvary Christian kicked off their season on Friday but they'll have to wait until their next matchup for a more definitive result. They and Shaw finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw. An excellent three-goal performance from Avery Riera still wasn't enough to secure a win.
Meanwhile, Chattahoochee County also started their season off with a less-than-sastisfying result. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Eufaula.
Calvary Christian walked away with a 3-1 victory over Chattahoochee County in their previous matchup back in April of 2019. Will Calvary Christian repeat their success, or does Chattahoochee County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
