Salem won the last time they faced Mississippi School for the Deaf and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Salem easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8.

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Salem will take on Lawrence County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Arkansas School for the Deaf on the 26th.
