Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beechcroft). They took down the Ponitz Career Tech Golden Panthers 71-57 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Beechcroft's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Ponitz Career Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Beechcroft Cougars face off against the Linden-McKinley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ponitz Career Tech will take on Bellbrook in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
