Marion was led to victory by Grace Hett and Kenna Wesner. Hett scored 16 points along with six steals and five assists, while Wesner scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Regnier, who scored six points along with four steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Wakefield struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Marion racked up 17 assists.
Marion's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Wakefield, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-6.
