The Indian Creek Redskins will challenge the Carrollton Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Creek's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Carrollton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Indian Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Claymont. The Redskins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Sal Barcalow made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Gavin Pownall was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Ty Householder was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Indian Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Claymont only posted an OBP of .261.
Meanwhile, Carrollton entered their tilt with West Holmes on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Knights. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one run.
Indian Creek's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Carrollton, their victory bumped their record up to 20-5.
Indian Creek came out on top in a nail-biter against Carrollton in their previous meeting back in May, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redskins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
