There's no place like home for Highland Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Ashbrook Greenwave 11-4 on Monday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.
Erwing Soza made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Highland Tech is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 3-5 otherwise. Soza was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
