Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk walked away with a 35-27 victory over Glens Falls. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk was led to victory by Ethan Green and Dominick Paljusaj. Green rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, while Paljusaj rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown. Green was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards. Wyatt Algozzine made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Another reason for the win was Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 5.5 sacks. Leading the way was Jayden Holl and his two sacks.
Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Glens Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-1.
Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk will be playing at home against Peru at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Peru is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. Glens Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
