Nic Stutzman turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Friday. He struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He was up against Crest and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. Stutzman has become a key player for Stuart W. Cramer: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-4 otherwise.
